i have one 4gb ddr3 ram.
Now i wanna upgrade ram
so thinking to buy new 4gb ddr4 ram.
So question is like,
will ddr4 ram work fine with ddr3 ram?
The task manager in my laptop shows it has used
2 slots out of 8 and when I opened they were only two physical slots? How does this work?
On DDR4, that divot is in a different place, so that (along with other differences) makes it impossible to put a DDR3 stick into a DDR4
slot.
